Our smallest projects start at a design fee of around £5,800 with a typical build from £45,500. If your budget sits below that, we're probably not the right studio for you, and we'll tell you so on the first call.

Two figures: a design fee paid to us, and a build cost paid to your contractor. Size, site and finish move both. The Estimator gives you your own range in about two minutes.

The design is roughly 10% of the total. The build is the other 90%. Design is how you make sure the 90% is spent on the right things, once.

No, and that's deliberate. We select and coordinate trusted build partners, and you contract them directly. We don't mark up their invoice. That keeps us on your side, not the contractor's.

Typically around 12 months from first conversation to finished garden. Design takes weeks, the build takes months. The Estimator shows your likely timeframe too.

A 15-minute phone call. We talk through your garden, your plans and your budget from the start. It's a two-way check, not a sales pitch.

Yes. We build a 3D model from real site measurements and you walk through it before a single slab is laid. What you see is what gets built.

Most people do, and that's the point. We design in rounds, so ideas get tested and refined before the build, where changes are cheap.

You get your money back. If you're not happy within four weeks of your kickoff meeting, we'll refund your design fees. The site survey is carried out by an independent specialist and isn't refundable. T&Cs apply.

Less than you'd think. Short, regular check-ins on a fixed rhythm, and a 3D model you can explore together in the evening. Couples don't need to be in the same room at the same time to make decisions.

We do, through Build Stewardship. Remote Stewardship from £200 a month, or full Stewardship with monthly site visits and written reports at £700 a month. Minimum three months.

Yes. A garden changes every season. We stay on hand with planting and maintenance guidance after handover, so it keeps getting better rather than slowly slipping back.

If you want a new patio, probably not. If you're spending £45k or more and want a garden people actually use, the design is what protects that money.
